Focus groups are when they get a group of people to try something out. Sometimes it is a product, sometimes it is a medical study, sometimes it is like a psychological thing to see how different people react to different situations etc..

I was in one several years back, it was a couple thing where we were using Palm Pilots to record our interactions with our partners for like 2 or 3 weeks, and they had us come in every week to ask us some questions and upload the information from our Palm Pilots. They gave us snacks when we came in weekly for the meetings, and they paid us when the study was done.

Yeah, I think being in a focus group is like the Holy Grail of all product testing. they usually pay REAL well. So when I saw this resource on another site, I had to share it with my peeps!

By the way, Ismile, these change all the time and so like today I went and applied for one that said for everywhere, and it took my info and said they would contact me within the next two days if I am selected. So just keep checking back.
