Pssst

Post by whatzwild7 on Tue Nov 03, 2009 7:23 am

http://pssst.generalmills.com/

The site is run by General mills and I really don't know much about it. I signed up a few months ago and then filled out a shopping habits survey. This last week I received 2 packages from them that had 3 dinner kits and a bunch of coupons so it might be worth checking out.

I've been a member for a while, and have gotten a few full size samples and coupons from them. I just got an email the other day, and now Im getting Pilsbury Simply peanut butter cookie dough from them. I got the Chocolate chip one a while ago, not a big fan of the Simply at all. I like those UN-natural ingredients. lol

This is a site that you have to be invited to through other survey sites. Please look for it in you spam if you did a survey from GM.

At first I signed up with my Yahoo email, and NEVER got anything from them. No emails, no offers. Then I signed up under my MSN email, and now I get stuff about once every 2 months. I dont know if its Yahoo or what?? But I know there is other stuff I wouldnt get through my Yahoo email. Like all of the Points for Prizes emails. They dont even go into my spam box.

I think she means that in order to get a product they send you an invite? At least that was what I was thinking she was saying when we were talking ont he phone. I also signed up with them through a link in a freebie site.
But I think what she is saying is that when they have products to send out to you, you actually need the invite FROM them. ????

You can just join at the site and don't need an invite. I think I did find out about the site through another freebie site or forum. They sent me an email before they sent the packages that said I would be getting something in the mail real soon and to keep an eye out for the package. I didn't have to answer the email or apply for anything. They just send free stuff to try out and coupons. I'm not sure but I think they might send a survey or something like it in a few weeks to see what I thought of the stuff.

The 1st package had a box of Romano's Macaroni Grill chicken alfredo dinner kit. All I had to do was buy the chicken (they did send me a coupon for free package of Prudue chicken breast at Target) and make it. It turned out pretty good and was very easy to make. I had never played with a dinner kit before.

The 2nd package had 2 dinner kits in it and a bunch of coupons for the kits. (no free chicken this time) A box of Romano's Macaroni Grill chicken piccata and a box of Wanchai Ferry orange chicken. I haven't tried these yet but it looks like chicken will be on the menu again this week.

okay, is this clear enough now?

I wish I got dinner stuff. All they ever send me is snacks. Not like Im complaining though, I love snacks, I would just like to get something different for a change from them.

When I signed up for this it was through an invite from another survey company. I signed up with them before and never got anything from them ever. When I got the Nature Valley thing I think I had signed up with them when I did a survey about the Nature valley sample that I requested.
