I also have a coupon organizer($1 at dollar store) and write down what items I want in the store that I have a coupon for. It makes it easier so you don't have to dig through them in the store.

i will buy candles from the store(obviously) the ones without the jars and then burn them down til they have died. 

then i take what is left and throw the wick away and the leftover wax i put in a baggie because it still smells good.
